FHSD Releases Reopening Plan Under COVID-19
Published: July 20, 2020
Earlier today, on Monday July 20, FHSD released an email to parents explaining the plan for reopening schools under the COVID-19 conditions. FHSD presented students with two options for the 2020-21 school year and asked students to select their option through an online form by July 26.
The first option for students is to return to in-person learning at school, where additional precautions will be put in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This will fall in accordance with the Governor’s guidelines, which were released today, providing guidance on screening, social distancing and masks.
The second option for students is to complete school virtually, where they will work remotely and independently, being held to the same standards as in-person learners.
There is a possibility this plan will change and develop as the COVID-19 pandemic changes.
