Union Station Continues Holiday Traditions [Photo Story]

Although many events have been rescheduled or even canceled in the St. Louis area, but thankfully events that happen at/in Union Station were not. Many smaller activities were able to take place this year with safety procedures like they encourage all guests to purchase their tickets online before their visit, Guests visiting the indoor attractions will pass through a temperature scanner, and lots of you can check out HERE

These are the major events Union Station hosted, “Believe! The Polar Express™ Experience”, “Pancakes with Santa”, “Lunch Under the Lights”, and “Scuba Claus”.

Believe! The Polar Express Experience is a walk through event that you get to interact with Santa, some of the characters from the Polar Express, and Santa’s Elves. The staff encourages families to wear holiday pj’s and families will be given hot chocolate and a cookie. This events runs from  Dec. 1 till Dec. 30.

 

 

Pancakes with Santa is a new tradition for Union Station and it is where guests get to experience a sit down breakfast at the Grand Hall in the St. Louis Union Station. They offer pancakes decorated with Santa’s face on them and parents are offered milk or coffee, children also have the opportunity to get a photo with Santa and tell him what they want for Christmas. This is available the weekends of Dec. 5 & 6, Dec. 12 & 13, and Dec. 19 & 20.

Lunch Under the Lights is where you get to eat lunch in the Grand Hall in the St. Louis Union Station, where the Hall is decorated with lights on the ceiling. This will take place Saturdays & Sundays starting November 28 and running through December 20 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. 

Scuba Claus is a Dive chart where Santa Claus gets in one of the tanks and talks to the audience along with some of his elves. Scuba Claus runs the Nov 27-Nov 29 in the afternoon, Dec 5-Dec 20th in the afternoon, Dec 21-Dec 24 in the afternoon.
