On April 8, c-team boys volleyball played against the Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs. The Knights jumped out to an early lead in the first set. However, FZS battled back and the score was 20-21, with the Knights leading by one point. The Knights pulled through to win the first set 25-20. The second set started similarly to the first, with FHN going up 15-9. The Knights were able to hold on to the large lead, and won the second set convincingly, 25-13. The team pulled off their first win of the season, 2 sets to none. “We played really well, and we did all of the things we’ve been working on in practice,” Coach Kent Stover said. “I’m looking forward to watching these guys grow.” The c-team plays next on April 13 against Francis Howell High.
