On Apr. 8, the varsity girls soccer team took on Fort Zumwalt East at home. During the first half, the girls had a back and forth battle with no team scoring a goal. However, in the second half the lions scored and had a 1-0 lead over the knights. The knights ended up falling to the lions 2-1, with senior Alli Vernon scoring the team’s only goal. The varsity girls next home game will be on Apr. 20 against Washington. (Photos by Anna Hollinger)
