Jackson Mitchell has been part of the varsity baseball team for three years. It is now his senior year and he is hoping to leave FHN on a solid season. “My goal is to help the team win as many games as possible,” Mitchell said.

Mitchell is committed to play baseball at Truman State University, and is very thankful for the people who have helped him get this far.

“I look up to Coach Freedline because he knows the game of baseball and has always been there for me,” Mitchell said. “Last year’s seniors had a huge impact on my career. I got to play with them three years in a row, and it was always fun competing with them.

Through three outings in the last week, Jackson Mitchell has been dominant. Both of the games he started, he came out with the Knights in the lead, and he is 1-0 with one save this week.
