On May 19, the boys volleyball team played Vianney in the district championship game. The boys won the first two sets with ease, but in the third set, Vianney began to cause trouble. The Knights went down 9-15 in the third set. However, little by little, FHN chipped away at Vianney’s lead. The Knights battled all the way back to tie the game 24-24. The game stayed tied up until 28-28. The Knights showed up in shining armor and pulled through and won the game 30-28. This is FHN’s second 3-set sweep in a row. The Knights are now district champions and advance to sectionals.

“We did a great job of staying focused,” junior Grogan Kraus said. “We need to keep our momentum and carry that with us to Lafayette.”

The Knights play next at Lafayette in sectionals on Friday, May 21 at 6:30pm.
