On May 21, the boys varsity volleyball team played Lafayette in the sectional round of the state tournament. Lafayette and FHN are two of the top teams in the state. Unfortunately, Lafayette came out on top. After 3 tough-fought sets, the Knights season was finished. Even though it didn’t end the way they wanted it to, the Knights had a remarkable season, winning the district championship for the first time in school history, and finishing 20-8 overall.

“It was a hell of a ride,” senior Avery Ward said. “I couldn’t have asked for a better group of boys to call brothers on the court.”
