FHN Mentors Mia Eilmer and Jayden Le hand out Class of 2025 shirts to incoming freshmen on transition day.

On August 19, FHN freshmen for the upcoming school year gathered at Francis Howell North for an introduction to their new school. Upperclassmen from the student organization, the “mentors”, led the event, showing new students around the school and leading ice breaker activities. Some sophomores who did their first year of high school online due to COVID-19 also attended the event so that they could get familiar with the building as well. The morning consisted of small groups playing games, answering questions, touring the school, and visiting classes in their schedule. (Photos By: Sophie Stachula)
