On Aug. 27, the varsity football team played against Oakville in the first game of the season. This was the first game FHN played on FHC’s football field while FHN’s fields are under construction. The Knights started out strong going up 14-7 in the first half. The second half was a nail biter, with 5 lead changes. With just minutes left in the game, Jaiden Frey(#71) intercepted a pass and ran it to the opponents 28 yard line, setting up the versatile Knights offense for a scoring opportunity.
