On the weekend of Dec. 4th, the Varsity Wrestling team participates in the Saturday invitationals in North’s large gym. The event began at 9:30 in the morning, lasting through the afternoon into the evening as they competed against schools including FZS, Jackson, Kirkwood, Lafayette, Troy Buchanan and Granite City. The JV team continued to take on opponents in the small gym. The match scores per contender resulted in 3-1 for Mason Apple, 3-1 for Trystan Blenis, 3-2 for Aaron Lashley, and 3-2 in favor of Jaidan Frey. (Photos by Matthew Wells and Natasha Haverly)
