Varsity Boys Basketball Nearly Takes Down Wentzville Liberty [Photo Gallery]

On Jan. 7, Varsity Boys Basketball faced the 6-3 Liberty Eagles. The Knights got out to an early 5 point lead, 15-10. At the half, FHN led 21-18. The Knights’ 3-point shooting was on point, as they made the majority of their deep shots. By the end of the third quarter, the Knights were up 40-30 after Paul Campoverde’s great shooting during the quarter. Unfortunately, the fourth quarter diminished FHN’s chance of winning. The Knights gave up 17 unanswered points. Liberty ended up winning the game 51-45 after outscoring the Knights 21-5 in the fourth quarter.
