On April 7, FHN’s C-Team baseball team went up against Fort Zumwalt East. Playing through sporadic rainfall, the Knights had the lead at the end of the first inning with the score 1-0. By the fourth inning, the game was tied up 3-3. However, FZE scored two more runs during the fifth inning, taking the lead 5-3. The Knights were able to tie up the score 5-5 during the top of the sixth, earning two successive runs already with two outs in the inning. By the end of the game, the Knights successfully won the game 8-6. “[We did well] playing at our level,” freshman Braeden Witherbee said. “We fought through.
