On April 6 FHN’s JV and Varsity lacrosse teams play against Incarnate Word Academy at the Lou Fusz soccer complex. The original plan was for a JV and a varsity game to take place, but after the other JV team didn’t have enough people to play, both FHN teams played varsity. The game was close and the teams were constantly tied throughout the game; however Incarnate was able to get ahead in the end winning with a score of 13-11. “That was, I’ll say probably one of the most fun lacrosse games I’ve seen in a long time just because we were neck and neck,” Head Coach Ashley Van Camp said. “There’s a bright future for this program and I’m super excited to be a part of it this season and I can’t wait to see how they do from here on out.” (Photos by: Payton Johnston, Addison Polsgrove, and Sadie Cotton)
