On April 28th, FHN’s jazz band held a dinner concert after school. The dinner concert allows students taking a curricular jazz band class to play for an audience while spectators are able to eat a provided dinner. The group was not able to hold the event for two years due to Covid-19, but the event made a return during the 2021-2022 school year. “I think the jazz dinner concert is one of the most special things that we do,” band director Robert Stegeman said. “It’s just a celebration of our kids that work so hard in jazz and it’s always so fun and rewarding and they kill it every year.” (Photos by: Sadie Cotton)
