Varsity Girls Volleyball Falls to North Point On Senior Night [Photo Gallery]

On Oct. 12, the Varsity Girls Volleyball team went against the North Point Grizzlies in a home game. FHN celebrated the senior girls’ dedication to the team at the beginning of the game, honoring their hard work and dedication to the team over the years. The game began and the Grizzlies took a quick lead in the first set, but the Knights closed the gap pretty soon. However, the Grizzlies won the first set 26-24. The second set began with the Knights in the lead, and they were able to hold it steady and take the win for the set. The third set began, and the Grizzlies were able to take their second set win, making it 2-1. The game went into a fourth set and the Knights trailed the Grizzlies closely the whole set, but ended up losing it in a close 25-23 loss. “It’s sad, it’s very sad to be leaving them, I’ve been with a lot of them since freshman year and it’s been a long season and I’m sad that it’s gonna end so soon,” Senior Brianna Wortman says.
