On Feb. 3, JV boys basketball went against Howell Central in an away game. The Knights started off scoring a few baskets here and there, but the Spartans were consistent with their scoring and pulled away quickly. Going into the first quarter, the score was 22-11, Howell Central leading the game. The Knights unfortunately had a lot of turnovers, which led to quick and rapid fire scoring on Central’s part. At the half, the score was 39-17, Central still ahead. The Spartans continued to score throughout the game, but towards the end of the game, North started to gain traction and get more baskets up. With only a few minutes left in the game and a decent point gap of 51-41, North had to keep fouling in order to gain possession of the ball. The game ended with a score of 58-49, with a Spartan win.
