FHN Band Performs With Barnwell And Hollenbeck [Photo Gallery]

On Mar. 13, Barnwell and Hollenbeck Middle perform with FHN band in the big gym. This is the first concert band has held with the middle schoolers. The concert was held in hopes of helping future high schoolers transition into high school band most easily and create a connection with the current high schoolers. It began with intermediate/freshman and sophomore band performing, then advanced/symphonic band, and ending with symphonic band. There were a total of 5 songs performed by a mix of high schoolers and middle schoolers. “I felt like it was a great opportunity for the middle schoolers to see what their future band careers in high school would be like,” said sophomore Val Galantowicz.
