On May 16th, Jennifer Barry, an essential skills teacher at FHN and other staff members, organized a special party to celebrate the graduation of six seniors from the essential skills department. This department focuses on developing crucial life skills, catering to students who may not necessarily pursue college but instead focus on job and work bonds. The event was attended by administrators, teachers, and counselors who joined in to congratulate and wish the graduates well. A student from a district program called “Adult Prep” also participated in the celebration. The party featured an autograph book where attendees could write heartfelt messages and wishes for the future. It was a meaningful gathering that recognized the achievements and provided support for the graduating seniors as they embarked on their next endeavors. (Photos by Etaf Abdallah)
