Annual Veterans Day Assembly To Be Held in FHN Gym

To acknowledge people who have previously served in the U.S military, the U.S. celebrates Veterans Day on Nov. 11 each year.

North works to make sure the veterans in the community are seen and respected with a Veterans Day assembly, in which the school takes time to come together and listen to local veterans tell their own stories and lessons attendees can learn from. The assembly will take place during the school day in the big gym.

“We should respect them for what they’ve done,” junior Thomas Brown said. “They’re good people.”
