On Dec. 19 and 20 Mr. Sheller’s HBS class dissected a Sheep Brain. While learning about the lobes and parts of the brain, the two day dissection gave Mr. Sheller’s students a hands-on experience before their test over the brain. The first day consisted of labeling the external features and getting oriented with the brain while the second day was an internal examination focused on the specific structures. “It was a good way to learn the brain because it was easier to understand all the specific structures when it wasn’t just labeled on a paper diagram,” Junior Mady Brewer said.
