Purina Holds it’s Annual Pet Parade [Photo Gallery]

On Feb. 4, Purina held their 31st Annual Pet Parade in Soulard, St.Louis. The annual parade began at 1:00, and then was followed by the Weiner Dog Derby at 2:00. Purina in part with Open Door Animal Sanctuary hosted this fundraiser in hopes to be able to rescue and reunite animals with new homes. While many cats and dogs were in attendance, the parade also was open to unusual house pets like goats and pigs. Regardless of who showed up, pet or human, everyone was sure to dress up in colorful and creative costumes to celebrate Mardi Gras.
