Ceramics II Classes Work On The First Project Of The Semester

On Feb 14, Ashley Jameson’s Ceramics II classes continued work on their first major clay project of the semester. Students have been taking turns learning the pottery wheel, specifically this time while making mugs. Each group gets one week on the pottery wheel, and one week making purposeful hand built projects. “Right now I’m making a jewelry tray with a pool ball design,” Senior Sydney Staten said about her handbuilt project. “I have to get used to the wheel because its very different from what I’m used to.”
