Mario Vs Donkey Kong is a remake of the game of the same name releasing on the Nintendo Switch on Feb 16. This was originally a game on the Game Boy Advance and it was a puzzle platformer. This game is a remake of the beginning of the Mario vs Donkey Kong series that ended on the 3DS/Wii U with Mini Mario and Friends: Amiibo Challenge which was free and had a mixed reception.
This game reignites the rivalry that originally started on the Game Boy Advanced when Donkey Kong sees a commercial for the Mini-Marios, a wind-up toy made by Mario in his toy factory called Mario Toy Company, he immediately falls in love and sets out to the store to get himself one. He’s then devastated when he finds out that they’re all sold out of the toys so he goes to Mario Toy Company to take some for himself which Mario pursues trying to get his toys back.
In this game Mario will face many Donkey Kong and many puzzles to get his Mini-Marios back. This game is a remake that improves on the original game in many ways such as fully animated cutscenes and a graphical update for the game. The game also adds local co-op so players can go through the puzzles with a friend.
