On Feb. 28 FHN’s junior class hosted the annual Prom Fashion Show to raise money for prom taking place in April with the help of FACs teacher Marissa Heyer. Juniors and seniors were invited to come model prom dresses or suits from Camille La Vie, Savvi Formalwear and A Change of Dress. Seniors Parker Smith and Chase Pray were the emcees that announced each model and explained the dresses. A silent auction was held to help raise money with prizes such as a Crumbl Cookie certificate, movie theater tickets, a self care package, a Top Golf gift card and more. The models competed in junior versus senior Family Feud and FHN trivia. The Seniors pulled out the win after a close competition of Family Feud. During trivia, many models resorted to the “phone a friend” option to help each other answer the questions. The event ended with Smith and Pray announcing the winners of the silent auction before assistant principal Jeffery Blankenship hosted the “not so silent” portion of the auction to sell the remaining prizes.
