During the 7th hour in room 162, Mrs. Maples’ Printmaking class works on their Etching Unit. Their project features two works, both consisting as landscape portraits, one having color and the other consisting of black and white. The process requires plexiglass, etching ink, and paper. They start by placing a piece of plexiglass on paper and they etch through the plexiglass with etching ink and pencil. Once that process is finished they put it through the printing press to press in the ink and apply color.
