On April 8, FHN students were directed outside to the football field to watch the solar eclipse. The last eclipse that occurred over the US was in 2016. During the eclipse students were required to put on glasses given out by their teachers. This year’s eclipse was in the totality stage for about 3 and a half minutes in many parts of Missouri. St. Charles was not in full totality but the student did experience some effects including a drop in temperature and a slightly darker sky. (Photos by: Kylie Taliaferro and Taylor Griffin)
