On May 1st, the senior awards night ceremony was held inside the big gym celebrating the academic achievements of over 100 seniors of the class of 2024. The ceremony began with the Jazz Band playing music for people entering the ceremony. Head principal Jeffery Fletcher then introduced the senior principal Jeff Blankenship to announce the awards and scholarships of the seniors and their plans for after high school. After these awards were announced the FHN choir then had two of their state winning chamber ensembles perform for the ceremony. Following this they announced the departmental awards for students who demonstrated exemplary work in the class/extracurricular activities throughout their high school career. To end the night off they announced scholarships that some seniors achieved as well including the Paul Just Memorial Art Scholarship, the FHN Journalism Alumni Scholarship and the Missouri Masonic Scholarship.
