On Aug. 24, Francis Howell North hosted its 32nd annual Black and Gold Day and scrimmages for the first time in the new building. The afternoon started with the parade of athletes, which had all the fall sports teams walk the track. Following the parade, Knightline and cheer began the performances with both JV and varsity performing. The first scrimmage started with soccer at 6:30 and lasted half an hour. Soon after the soccer scrimmage, the football freshmen and sophomore scrimmage started, also lasting a half hour ending off the night with a band performance.
