From Sept. 13-15, the 29th Annual Mosaics Fine Art Festival was held on St. Charles Main Street. Many installations from artists all over the midwest were on display. Some showed their paintings others displayed handmade jewelry along with so many more unique forms of art. There were many music groups such as The Poor People of Paris and the Buckhannon Brothers performing in the busy environment bringing larger amounts of business to the small shops and restaurants on main street. The monthly St. Charles Artisan and Flea market was also taking place just up the street on Sept. 14 bringing extra visitors to Main Street over the weekend.
