FHN’s Homecoming dance is coming up on September 28th, that means this entire week coming up is spirit week. If you’re not sure what to wear or what the current themes are, this may help. There will also be a small challenge held between classes so make sure to dress accordingly.
“The class that wins the most participation during spirit week, the entire stadium will be decorated in their class,” Rowan Pugh, one of the teacher sponsors for STUCO said.
Monday: “Living the American Dream”
Dress in your best USA attire. Red white and blue and don’t be afraid to go all out.
Tuesday: “A Visit To the City”
Dress touristy. Hawaiian shirt, leis, I Heart New York shirts. All of the above would work for this day. It’s up to your own interpretation. There’s no wrong way to go about it.
Wednesday: “An Old Sport”
Jersey day. Wear your favorite football, baseball, basketball or even your own jersey on this day.
Thursday: “The City That Never Sleeps”
If you are an underclassman, wear your pajamas. Go all out with a onesie or even some bunny slippers. If you were a senior, wear your senior toga. This applies to seniors and only seniors.
Friday: “Class Colors”
On this day, there will be a pep assembly where you will be divided by grade level. To distinguish each grade level they recommend dressing in class colors. Freshman wear red, Sophomores wear green, Juniors wear blue, and Seniors wear red. Do not be afraid to go all out on this day. Face, paint, designs, tutus, full monochromatic outfits. Have fun with it. On Friday a pep assembly will be held in anticipation for the dance on Saturday.
