Boys Swim and Dive Team Win First Place [Photo Gallery]

The boys swim and dive team went against Liberty and St Dominic on Sept. 24 in the St Peters Rec Plex. The team ended the meet in first place with a score of 135 points. Freshman Evin Gamage won first place for the 100 meter butterfly while team captain and senior Edward Lee won first place in the 100 meter freestyle and 100 meter breaststroke. Lee, Junior Lucas Hanson, senior Caleb Scott and freshman Nathan Hanson won first place for the 400 freestyle relay with a total time of four minutes, 10 seconds and 19 milliseconds. “I felt we were going to do really well at the meet, the team was excited to have a chance at winning and overall I’d say we performed really well,” said Lucas.
