A Q&A With Representative of Missouri District 106, Travis Wilson

Do you use social media in your campaigning?

Generally, I do not. I am on social media, I have a social media account for both my personal use and also for my campaign use. I utilize [my campaign account] basically, to communicate with constituents in a fairly bipartisan manner.

What is the way you prefer to share your message with voters?

Knocking on doors. I’m out trying to communicate directly with voters and ask for their votes in person. Also, doing things like sending information through the mail directly to their homes. That sort of thing, I think, is much more personable and much more direct to the actual constituent.

What is your goal in office?

I’m going to continue to work hard for everybody, whether they’re Republican or Democrat, regardless of their socioeconomic status, regardless of their background, regardless of anything, I’m going to work hard because they’re one of my constituents.
