Girls Wrestling Has First Matches Against Saint Charles West [Photo Gallery]

During the match at Orchard Farm on Dec. 5, FHN versus SCW, with the girls going against one another in six minute variations. There were wins by Olivia Prentice, Jenna Martinez, Izzy Apple, Aubrey Peterson, Alexa Lauer and Cailyn Rector. First year wrestler, junior Jenna Martinez talked about her win saying, “Regardless of me being nervous before my matches, I still have confidence in some, more than others.” Martinez said, “When I ended up winning, it was such a relief. Not only because of the intensity of it but because I did win by a pin compared to points.” (Photos By: Kiley Wallace)
