On Thursday, Dec. 12 the Knights Jv Boys Basketball Team takes on SLUH at home. Tip off began at 5:30pm. Diving right into the game, after the first quarter the Knights had a lead over the Billikens with the score being 12-10. Shortly after that SLUH started to make a comeback on FHN, when quarter two ended the score was 27-17 with the Billikens ahead of the Knights. The Jv Cheer Squad performed at halftime before jumping right into the third quarter. In the last two quarters, both teams bounced back and forth with tying scores and neither team maintaining a lead. Quarter three ended 36-31 with SLUH ahead of FHN. The last remaining quarter builds suspense for both teams. With 38 seconds left the Knights took the lead over the Billikens with a score of 46-45. It wasn’t until the scoreboard read five seconds, SLUH broke through FHNs defense and scored a layup. The Billikens were named victorious over the Knights with the final score being 48-46.
