I’m a center midfielder.
What are you looking forward to most about this upcoming season?
Coming into this year, we have new coaching staff, giving us a lot more opportunity to succeed over the season.
What are some goals you were setting for yourself?
To be a leader on the team and to also score more goals than I did last year.
What strengths do you have that make you a good athlete?
Even though I’m a smaller player, I think I use my body well. Also, I am a big talker so I think communication is a big part.
How do you stay motivated during a tough game?
I like to write motivational messages on my wrist to help me stay motivated.
What is your favorite part about playing high school sports?
My favorite part about playing high school sports is the people I’m surrounded by. Being surrounded around the same girls at all times helps to build those friendships.
How do you stay motivated throughout the season?
Knowing my big goals and dreams that I want to achieve helps me stay motivated.
If you could describe your team as a whole in one word, what would it be?
Motivated. Even though last season we had a few rough games, I think we all worked as a whole to keep pushing through.
What qualities do you look for in a good teammate?
If they’re good with communicating and if they’re able to take constructive criticism.
How do you motivate your teammates during a tough game?
I like to remind my teammates to not give up.
How do you balance your academics with your athletic commitments?
Making time for both soccer and my academics is important. I have been able to figure out a schedule for the past few years that works for me.
How do you think this season will go compared to last season?
I see a lot more wins in our record book, and I think that we’re going to have a stronger team as a whole.
