Varsity Girls Soccer Holds Their Home Opener [Photo Gallery]

On March 21, varsity girls soccer held their home opener game for the season against Saint Charles. Starting the first half, the Knights gained the first goals, which were made by sophomore Lexi Lohnes and junior Emerson Kennedy. Going into the second half, the score was 2-0 with the Knights in the lead. Junior Addie Butler making the last goal knights took the win 4-0 ending the game. “It made me feel very happy and excited to get the momentum going for the team,” Lohnes said, “Scoring another goal later in the game, I feel like really set it off and we were on a roll after that and played very well as a team.” (Photos by: Samantha Shoulta)
