On Apr 07, the FHN JV Boys Volleyball team played against the Parkway North High School Vikings in an away game. The game started with the Knights taking a strong lead against the Vikings, and winning the first period with 27-25. “On the first set we did phenomenal, there were a couple of errors but nothing too big.” said junior Charlie Kennedy. After gathering as a team with their coaches, they went back out to the court to play the second period. The second period was a very close run for both teams, but the Knights won the second period 25-20. “The second set, we were really lacking, we got way too confident,” explained Kennedy, “ If we had to work on something, it’s just working on being humble and keeping level.” Aside from this, Kennedy felt that he and the team played pretty well but could’ve worked a little harder. “I think I did pretty good, I honestly could’ve worked on my communication a little more, maybe hit some more aggressive serves, but I think I did pretty good,” Kennedy said.
