Students will be receiving tickets in their packet, in the event that they need more tickets they may reach out to McHaffie for more.

Along with the class president, Colin Smith and the senior who was chosen at senior auditions. Choir will also have auditions to know who will be the soloist who performs at graduation.
“Choir also sings two songs,” McHaffie said. “They sing our Alma Mater, and they sing the Star Spangled Banner.”
Aside from how the ceremony will run, there are some rules to be followed. Caps and gowns are not to be decorated in any form and will be replaced on the day of. The dress code is formal so items like shorts and flip-flops are not allowed. All cords and medals worn must be through FHN and cannot be altered. Seniors will be receiving their real diplomas after the graduation ceremony prior to leaving from the teacher in their assigned row.
It’s recommended to seniors to make sure to remember all you cords and medallions, have a plan on where to meet up with friends and family after graduation and above all else, be on time.
“Be on time, sometimes we have late students come in 10 minutes before we go and walk on so be on time for graduation, it gets crazy,” McHaffie said.
