On May 20, varsity girls soccer had their first round of districts against FHC on the Knights home field. Starting the first half both teams had a strong start to the game. At the end of the first half the score was 3-0 FHC. Going into the second half with four mins left of the game senior Addie Butler #3 making a goal to make the score 5-1 FHC. “I think we played alright, Said junior Ellie McCoy, “definitely not our best game but in the 2nd half we started to figure things out. The pressure of it being a district game and possibly the seniors last game definitely made us a little bit more nervous and it showed in how we played. It was still a great season and hopefully next year we can improve even more.” (Photos By: Samantha Shoulta)
