On Saturday, Aug. 23 Francis Howell North hosted their 35th annual Black and Gold Day. This day housed many fun activities such as, scrimmages from our football team and boys soccer, a parade of athletes for our fall sport athletes and a variety of booths hosted by clubs around FHN. At 6 p.m. everyone gathered on the bleachers to hear the singing of the national anthem. Soon after the parade of athletes, all of the athletes gathered with their teams and took a lap around the track. At 6:45 p.m. there were performances from the jv and varsity cheer team as well as jv and varsity knightline. To close off the night there were scrimmages from the football team and the boys soccer team and a performance from color guard and the knight sound band.
