Between the hustle and bustle of back to school, one of FHNs’ most exciting events is right around the corner. Homecoming is one of the most memorable high school dances where students find their peers in their finest attire, from sparkles and rhinestones to the smell of stiffening hairspray, it’s for sure an outfit many won’t forget.
“I don’t know what to expect,” freshman Brian Stolle Torres said. “But I’m going to show up and show out. I’m full of surprises.”
For students like Stolle Torres, this year’s homecoming will be a first; though for others, they are being put up to the challenge of having to choose their last homecoming outfit.
“I’m pretty hype for senior year and to pick my dress,” senior Scarlett Horstman said. “I’m going to get another flowy dress, probably something red and mid-length”
Although homecoming is an excitement for most, some students decided to spend their weekend in a different fashion.
“I’m actually going to a Chappel Roan concert, but I’m going to wear something black and sparkly to match my favourite album,” junior Lucy Haar said.
And that sums up homecoming, sparkles, loud music and a night many won’t forget.
