The new building has brought many changes to FHN, including where the Homecoming dance is held. In the infancy of the new building, Homecoming was held in the Commons. The Commons comprises the cafeteria and lobby areas. Though it was thought to be successful, Student Council leaders sought a change. In year two of the new FHN building, the Homecoming dance will now be in the small gym.
