On Friday, Oct. 3, the Francis Howell North Knights faced off against the Fort Zumwalt West Jaguars at the Knights home stadium for their annual homecoming football game. Prior to the game starting, there were performances by the Knight Pride Band and color guard starting at 6:00 p.m.. Right before the game started, everyone stood for the signing of the national anthem, sung by the Knights choir and listened to the announcing of the team captains from both sides. This week’s captains for the Knights were Dean Hyatt, Tatem Chrismer, Theodore Craver and Davion Danser. Kicking off the game and heading into the first quarter, the Jaguars picked up an early lead on the Knights. At the end of the quarter the Jaguars had still kept the lead with the score being 21-0. After the second quarter is where the homecoming festivities come into play. The Knights began halftime with the announcing of the 2025 homecoming court. After court, there were performances from the varsity cheer team and the Knightline dance team who were accompanied by the boys studline dance team. After halftime was over, the game began once again with the score being 49-0 still in favor of the Jaguars. Finishing the last two quarters, the Knights still remained scoreless. The game ended in a win for the Jaguars with the final score being 65-0.
