On Sept. 30, the FHN JV girls volleyball team played a home game against the Liberty Eagles in the big gym. The Eagles started off strong with an 8-0 lead but the Knights were quick to catch up and ended the first set with a score of 25-20. The Knights maintained their lead and won the second set 25-16, leaving no need for a third set. Sophomore Alexis Shinn believes the team and herself played well as a collective. Shinn states, “I think we communicated really well, I was covering and going where I needed to.” However, she still sees room for improvement, “I think we can improve on starting off stronger than going 0-8,” said Shinn.
