On Oct. 07, the JV and Varsity boys swim teams went up against the Fort Zumwalt North Panthers and the Washington High School Blue Jays at the St. Peters Rec-Plex. The Knights won first place in the 200 Medley, 200 Free Style, 200 Individual Medley, 100 Butterfly, 100 Free Style, 500 Free Style, 100 Back Stroke, and 400 Free Relay, winning eight out of the eleven races. Because of these wins, the Knights ended the meet in first place with 144 points, having a lead of 64 points on the Panthers and a lead of 77 points on the Blue Jays. “I think our team did awesome, we might’ve not had as many PR’s but we definitely swam really good. [to improve] I would say maybe just like refining…and keeping our team spirit up,” sophomore Nathan Hanson said. (Photos By: Lizeth Zacarias)
