On Oct. 14, the JV softball team ended their season with a home game against the Lafayette Lancers. The Lancers began with a lead of 4-0 in the first half of the first inning, but the Knights quickly followed, ending the first inning with a score of 4-3. The Knights and Lancers were tied by the end of the second inning with a score of 6-6. During the third inning, the Lancers gained a lead of 2 points, ending the inning with a score of 8-6. In the sixth and last inning of the game, the Knights completed one last run, ending the game with a score of 8-7 in favor of the Lancers. “We had a few mistakes, but overall I think we stuck with them pretty well.
