On Dec. 11, Joseph Brocksmith’s Biology II class performed a jellyfish dissection as part of their Jellyfish unit. The lab involved dissecting, analyzing and identifying the different parts of the jellyfish. On Dec. 11, Joseph Brocksmith’s Biology II class performed a jellyfish dissection as part of their Jellyfish unit. The lab involved dissecting, analyzing, and identifying the different parts of the jellyfish. Students examined the organism’s anatomy firsthand, reinforcing concepts discussed in class such as structure, function, and adaptation. It also allowed students to practice dissection techniques.
