The new physics teacher, April Plyler, and her husband, Clint Plyler, launched a small shop called Bear Ridge in the Mid Rivers Mall while continuing their book series. The shop offers a welcoming space for children and adults who love books, puppets, toys and Legos. They often stage puppet shows, inviting visitors to meet beloved characters like Allen the Alligator and other clever, charming personalities.
