On Feb 23, students across the Francis Howell School District participated in a walkout to protest the acts of the Immigration Enforcement Agency. Walkouts and acts of protest have been sprouting up all around the country in response to acts of violence and deaths caused by ICE. Freshman Mason Walker, Aleeza Amir and sophomore Ismael Estrada spoke during the walkout, telling stories of personal connections to ICE and leading chants to unite the crowd of students gathered. Administration was made aware of the walkout to ensure safety and conversations were had to lower the consequences of the walkout. (Photos by: Eashaan Patel)
