GTA 6 has been pushed back in development by years by now, and fans are left wondering if it will even be released at all. The game has been delayed again, and the new release date is in November 2026, which many are disappointed by.
“[It seems] like a finished game, all these delays make it seem like they’re pushing it back just on their own terms and they don’t wanna release this game,” senior Adam Williams said.
People aren’t surprised by this delay. Some expected it, and hope Rockstar Games is really taking advantage of this time to make the game the best it can be.
“I lowkey just hope they make the driving experience more realistic,” sophomore Zaniyah Howard said.
Regardless of the far off release date and the frustrations that follow, fans are excited for when the game eventually releases and they can relive the fun they had when playing past GTA titles.
“It’s just a game I can play with my friends, and every time I would ever hop on the game […] it wouldn’t be any question,” senior Benjamin Bartels said.
